Alabama & Georgia Spiders

Alabama and Georgia have a wide variety of spiders that could invade your home. While most are harmless, it’s important to be able to identify what spiders you’re seeing for your pest control technician.

Black Widow Spider

Black Widows are both venomous and common in Alabama. You’ll typically find Black Widow spiders in crawl spaces, attics, and other dimply lit, seldom used places in your house.

Brown Recluse Spider

Brown Recluse Spiders will often be found in places of storage, under old furniture, and in places that are frequently traveled. These are highly venomous and have a painful bite. Call Ballard Pest Control for spider mitigation and pest control services to deal with brown recluses.

Jumping Spider

Typically harmless, jumping spiders are more of a nuisance than a danger. However, any spider that’s inside the house is a spider you don’t want!

Wolf Spider

Wolf Spiders are great for mitigating mosquitoes and other flying pests outside the home, but aren’t welcome inside. These grey, quick-moving spiders are hard to catch, so let a licensed pest control technician deal with them for you.

The Spider Pest Control Process

At Ballard Pest Control, every pest control process begins with inspection and identification. While a photo from the customer is always helpful, our licensed pest control experts will take the time to make sure we’re treating for the correct kinds of spiders.

Set-up an appointment for a fast and easy solution to your pest problems

Most of the time, treatment for spiders is a single-service treatment plan, where we’re able to remove and mitigation spiders moving forward with a single treatment. However, if the problem persists, it’s important to have a regularly scheduled pest control plan, especially during the cold months when many outdoor pests come inside for warmth.

After the initial spider pest control problem is addressed, you should consider a routine monthly pest control schedule to prevent any other outdoor pests from making their way inside your home.

Sign up for annual treatment plans per season

With every pest control bundle, our expert pest control providers will have an annual review of the work completed and the quality of pest control provided. This will include a home inspection for other pests, outdoor quality checks for mosquitoes, and more.
